At Shankari School, sports are not just games—they are an integral part of our curriculum and community life. Every class enjoys a weekly curriculum-based sports session, designed to nurture physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline. These sessions include both indoor activities such as table tennis, chess, badminton, and carrom, and outdoor games like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, and athletics.
Beyond the classroom, students participate in Intra-class and Inter-class competitions, where friendly rivalry fosters confidence, leadership, and school spirit. These events ensure that every learner has the opportunity to showcase their skills and grow through healthy competition.
The highlight of our sporting calendar is the Grand Sports Meet, held every alternate year. This celebration brings together the entire school community in a vibrant display of athleticism, creativity, and unity. The last Grand Sports Meet was held in Magh 2081, and the energy of that day continues to inspire us.
